Please download the Customer Dataset provided for practicing Data Cleaning Concepts using MS Excel.
You are required to use the dataset to practice various data-cleaning techniques such as:
- Identifying and removing duplicate records
- Correcting inconsistent data
- Cleaning and formatting customer names
- Splitting addresses into separate columns
- Extracting City, State and PIN Code
- Checking missing or incorrect values
- Calculating Amount = Price × Units
- Using Excel functions such as TRIM, CLEAN, LEFT, RIGHT, MID, FIND, SUBSTITUTE, IF, etc.
- Sorting and filtering data
Please download the dataset and complete the data-cleaning exercises before the next practical session.
